CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS AND GILDER'S 48. MARKS TO ALL PIECES, PRESSNUMMER 24 TO CUPS AND 2 TO SAUCERS
The cups with gilt double-scroll handles, each painted with continuous scenes of Orientals at various pursuits on terraces above double iron-red line supports, the interiors with gilt borders with diaper panels, the saucers with similar scenes within double concentric iron-red circles and similar borders, gilt line rims (disguised firing crack to rim of one cup, minute wear) (2)
