A ZÜRICH TWO-HANDLED OVAL BASKET
CIRCA 1775
The scale-shaped pierced basket-weave edged with purple on the exterior, between green and purple moulded jewelled borders, the handles similarly jewelled, the base of the interior painted with a bouquet of flowers including honeysuckle, roses and a tulip (crack to one handle, slight firing cracks and faults, areas of minute flaking to enamels on interior)
