The rectangular bevelled plate framed by a moulded and coral-inlaid rim, the panelled border densly inlaid with scrolling drops centered by oval enamelled medallions fitted with carved profiles, the angles with conforming polylobed reserves mounted with three profiles, within a raised border fitted with coral baguettes, with pierced foliate and S-scrolled angle mounts centred by a crowned and winged putto's head, the cresting centered by a conforming mount, the gilt-brass reverse edged panel engraved overall with dense foliate scrolling and centered with a circular medallion depicting a beheading scene, minor losses to the peripheral scrolls flanking the angle mounts
