The dial signed John Fletcher, Lombard St. London 298, gold hour and minute hands, blued steel hands for the up/down sector 0-54 and for the seconds ring, Roman and Arabic chapters, the movement with chain fusee, spotted plates, Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement with blued steel helical spring and cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights, brass bowl with spring-loaded winding cover, convex glass, the three-tier brass-bound box with recessed handles to the sides, vacant plaques to the front and top lid
