The case well engraved with delicate scrolling foliage and with handle to the top with escapement viewing aperture and leafy bud finials, fluted columns to the angles, the solid panels to the sides and rear door further engraved with foliage and vignettes engraved with sailing ships, bridges and townscapes, the white enamel dial with blued steel hands within an envraged silvered mask signed Hry. Marc A Paris, the movement with twin spring barrels, hour and half-hour strike on a bell on the backplate further signed Hy Marc Paris and numbered 21334, lever escapement with foliate engraved gilt platform
