The engine-turned silvered dial with painted Roman chapters and blued steel hands, foliate engraved centre and vacant cartouche below, the movement with going barrel, four wheel train with lever escapement and three-arm steel balance, the backplate stamped Thos. Cole London, the foliate engraved and engine-turned case punch numbered 1810 on the base and behind the folding stand at the base of the back cover with sliding cover to the escapement viewing aperture and integral winding handle
