A GROUP OF ENGLISH PORCELAIN PICKLE DISHES AND A CREAM BOAT
CIRCA 1761-1800,
comprising: two Liverpool (William Ball or James Pennington at Brownlow Hill) leaf-shape dishes, 1761-1767, enriched in blue; a deep leaf dish, the rim in blue, the underside veined; a cream-boat, probably Liverpool, moulded at each side with fruit on a basket-ground; and a toy sugar-bowl and a cover, probably Liverpool, painted with Chinoiserie landscapes; together with a Worcester cover, a pearlware leaf-shape pickle dish printed in the 'Willow' pattern, and a Chinese porcelain barrel-form mustard-pot
