Each decorated in underglaze blue, green, yellow, red and black overglaze enamels and gilt, with panels of peonies, plum, cherry blossom and chrysanthemum in a rocky landscape, eight fan-shaped panels on the shoulder, with chrysanthemum, cherry, plum and peony, the necks with floral karakusa, the covers surmounted by knop finials modelled as a karashishi
