A BONE AND SIX IVORY NETSUKE

The first bone, manju, engraved with an ox, signed Yasafusa; the second katabori, ivory, of circular form with a central hole; the third ivory, manju, carved as a chrysanthemum flower, the fourth a kagamibuta, engraved in shibuichi [copper-silver alloy] with a design of Urashima Taro and Benten; the fifth a manju, incised with a map of Japan; the sixth katabori, stained ivory, of a lotus pod, its himotoshi formed by the stalk; the seventh a kagamibuta, ivory, with inlaid silver central plate inlaid with yellow, green, blue and white cloisonné enamels of floral design
