Hydnum imbrocatum in painted wax on a plaster clod of earth raised on an ebonised wooden base with tapered column, labelled in manuscript on the underside -- 19cm. (7½in.) high; the other carved in limewood, six examples of various sizes on a piece of bark, with (faded) manuscript label on the underside -- 9.9cm. (3 7/8in.) high (2)
