A 19th-Century lacquered-brass hydrostatic balance,
unsigned, the beam with a suspension hook at one end and a pointer at the other to read off the corresponding point on a curved piece of brass incorporating the fulcrum, raised on an adjustable brass column with a turned base and one adjustable screw foot, with an impressed paper-covered card cylinder containing suspension hook, small weight with hook and a small celsius thermometer, also with a glass immersion tube, brass tweezers and a small tin of wire hooks, in a fitted mahogany box -- 23.4cm.
