A lacquered-brass 'Astro Vizualizer',
made in England by Culpeper Instruments Ltd designed by Scientific Precision, the outer declination ring graduated for 90°-0-90° and with pip-pin for altitude/azimuth reading, the altitude semi-circle graduated 3°-90°-3° and with latitiudes for ten US cities, the azimuth with decorative windrose pattern and graduated 0-360°, the base-scale bezel graduated 0-360°, supported atop three pillars over a glazed gimballed compass with thirty-two compass points, 1-360° circumference scale and screw fixing, supported on a circular mahogany base with domed glass cover -- 28cm. (11in.) high and 20.5cm. (8 1/8in.) dia., with accompanying handbook.
