The case with brass handle and single pad to the breakarch top and with pineapple finials, with glazed side and on brass bracket feet, with cast brass spiral-twist mounts and brass lining to a brass dial, flowerhead and scroll spandrels to silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, matted centre with recessed signature plaque for James Evans/London (and to the reverse DIEGO EVANS/LONDRES), with date aperture and cut steel hands, strike/silent ring to the arch above, the eight day twin wire fusee movement with verge escapement, strike/trip repeat on bell, the back plate engraved with foliate scrolls -- 15¾ in.
