The three-tier box with recessed side handles and with replacement plaque to the front, brass bowl and gimbal, silvered sight ring engraved P.& O. S.A.CO. to 105 mm. diameter silvered dial with 56-hour up/down ring, gold main hands and blued steel subsidiaries, signed Brockbank & Atkins/London No.1970, numbered 3315 to the rear of the dial and to the bowl, the reversed chain fusee movement with spot-finished plates, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement with cylindrical compensation weights to cut bimetallic balance and blued steel helical spring, maintaining power, repeat signature to the top plate -- 7 1/8 in.
