A famille rose yellow-ground altar gu-vase, late 19th century
square-sectioned, rising from the spread and aproned foot to the projecting mid-section and flared rim, the exterior enamelled on yellow ground with emblems suspended from lotus surrounded by foliated flower scrolls, iron-red six-character Qianlong seal mark -- 15 11/16in. (39.8cm.) high
