of pear-shaped form with a tapering neck and flared rim, applied with zoomorphic handles and supported on a spread foot, carved and combed with archaistic style coiling dragons and mythical beasts, covered overall with a bubble-suffused pale celadon glaze except for the unglazed footrim, incised Xuan he (kiln) mark -- 7 3/16in. (18.3cm.) high
