A pair of large soapstone seals, 19th Century
of mottled brown, deep red and cream tones, each surmounted with a Buddhistic lion and several cubs clambering around and playing with a brocade ball, each side incised with six lines of calligraphy, the undersides deeply incised with seal marks, with some red pigment remaining -- 10½in. (26.6cm) high. (2)
