A Tibetan embellished gilt bronze model of Vajradhara, 16th/17th Century
seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base with his hands crossed in vajrahumkara mudra, two lotus rising up to both shoulders supporting the vajra and ghanta, wearing a long flowing dhoti secured with a waistband suspending beaded festoons, necklace and armlets inset with turquoise and coral, with serene expression and downcast eyes, hair in a chignon surmounted by a richly inlaid headdress - 4¼ in. (10.8cm.) high.
