MARK OF PB CROWNED, (Unidentified), JERSEY, CIRCA 1740,
With ivory handle & silver-mounted ivory knop finial, leaf-capped spout with shell & bead decoration at base, engraved around the cover with baroque shells, scrolls, masks & diaperwork panels, one side engraved with a contemporary monogram, base inscribed "ELIZTH.J.LE HARDY", 4¾ in. high (12 cm.), 16.5 oz.
