AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY CHANNEL ISLANDS SILVER WINE CUP,
MARKS OF IS (Unidentified), (maker's mark, also a crown in separate punch), GUERNSEY, CIRCA 1720,
Plain except for engraved initials to one side, "P.M.G." over ".S.F.", on knopped baluster stem descending to a circular foot with triple thread border, 5½ in. high (14 cm.), 6 oz.
