A GEORGE III CHANNEL ISLANDS SILVER CREAM JUG,
MARK OF IA CROWNED, (Unidentified), GUERNSEY, CIRCA 1770,
Ovoid body on three pad feet, rim with deep indent at either side, a thread edge engraved under the rim, the front engraved with script initials, "MD" over conventional initials, ETT", the base with further initials, "MQT" and initials engraved on 2 of the 3 feet, IH", Maker's mark struck thrice to base, 3¾ in. high (9.5 cm.), 3.25 oz.
