Of porringer form on tucked-in foot, beaded rat-tails to handles, inscibed around side "a THL don de son Parain 1788", the other side with scipt initials "FHL", Maker's mark struck thrice to base, overstriking the London marks, 2 5/8 in. high (6.8 cm.), 2 oz.
