MARK OF WILLIAM EGAN, DUBLIN, 1966,
Of 18th Century style, the banded cylindrical body with pierced heart motif to handle, the plain, pointed-end ladle with lip to one side of bowl, both struck with the additional mark for the 50th Anniversary of the Easter Rising, the piggin 3¼ in. high (8.6 cm.), the ladle 5 1/8 in. long (13 cm.), 217.7 gm. ( approx. 7 oz.) (2)
