The glass body & long, curved glass neck respectively etched & cut to simulate the serpent's scales, the silver-gilt head similarly chased & set with coloured glass eyes, gilt interior to head, the glass possibly later, 9. 9¼ in. high (23 cm.), 10½ in. long (27 cm.)
