A VICTORIAN SILVER NOVELTY CONDIMENT SET,
MARK OF JOHN FIGG, LONDON, 1872,
The mustard pot, salt & pepper modelled respectively as a village pump, inscribed "THE VILLAGE PUMP", a swing-handled bucket & a seated boxer dog, the padlocked collar around his neck inscribed "PLEASE RETURN ME TO A.B.", all on a circular base with simulated grass finish, raised on 3 ball & claw feet, a small cartouche initialled "A.B." to front, the mustard spoon with curved stem & ball finial, 6 in. high (15 cm.), 15.5 oz. (4)
