A VICTORIAN NOVELTY SILVER-MOUNTED GLASS COLOGNE ATOMISER,
MARK OF THOMAS SMILY, LONDON, 1882,
Modelled as an armoured knight, the silver mount formed as his head in visored helm, the visor lifting to reveal his face, the glass body moulded to simulate his suit of armour, (atomiser mechanism activated by means of a lever at back of helm, apparently now siezed up), 7 in. high (18 cm.).
