MARK OF MESSRS. BARNARD, LONDON, 1847,
Of shaped circular outline, the border engraved with foliage on a frosted ground, on 3 scroll feet, centre prettily engraved with a Victorian folly with central minaret-like tower, a boy blowing a horn under a tree to one side & a cow drinking from a pond in the foreground, the base with registration lozenge for 12/1/1847, 7 7/8 in. diameter (20 cm.), 8.75 oz.
