A RARE GEORGE III SILVER CREAM SKIMMER,
MARK OF JOHN EMES, LONDON, 1797,
The slightly concave circular body pierced at centre with a geometric design, the thread-edged ring handle with oval thumbpiece engraved with crest of a bull's head erased, gorged with a ducal coronet, scratch-engraved on handle re-enforcement "13 oz. 15 dw", 10 in. diameter (25.3 cm.), 14 oz.
