MILITARY INTEREST:- A LATE VICTORIAN NOVELTY SILVER CRUET,
MARK OF SAMPSON MORDAN & CO., LONDON, 1900,
The salt, pepper & mustard each modelled as an artillery shell, the latter with gilt interior, clear glass liner & mustard spoon with shell finial, together with an additional gilded fitting in the form of a cartridge case, probably a toothpick holder, the trefoil base on 3 ball feet (one foot present but detached), ring handle, 6¾ in. high (17 cm.), 9 oz.
