TWO 18TH CENTURY SILVER MOTE SPOONS, A SIFTER SPOON & 2 MORE, SMALLER,
Comprising a mote spoon, maker's mark only, S.H, struck twice, bowl pierced with scrolls & crosslets, initialled "B" above the drop, the other mote spoon probably by Jeremiah Lee, London, c. 1735, maker's mark only, initialled above the faceted drop, bowl pierced with scrolling foliage & initialled "S" on back of bowl, also a small sifter spoon of teaspoon size, the thread-edge bowl pierced with scrolls around a central "snowflake" motif, the thread-edge stem with fluted terminal at back only, crested, maker's mark only on the pronounced drop, F.N, possibly for Francis Nelme, c.1730/40, also 2 condiment spoon sized sifter spoons, one gilded & with scallopped terminal.
