MARK OF ROBERT NASH overstriking another, W?, which in turn appears to be overstriking a third punch, LONDON, 1791,
Circular with bead borders, complete with padlock, (key absent), backed in red leather, inscribed in flowing script "Won by Capt. Hall's Hansome, Ashdown Park, Jany. 1792.", 4 5/8 in. diameter (10.7 cm.).

Further details
Ashdown Park, the estate of Lord Craven, was the home of the Ashdown Park Coursing Society, formed there in 1792. The first coursing society had been founded at Swaffham in 1780.
