MARK OF IR, UNASCRIBED, CIRCA 1765,
Maker's mark only, struck once to base, of bullet shape with acorn finial, collet foot, engraved band of alternate flower-heads & lozenge motifs on a linear ground around the cover, engraved with a wild-cat rampant crest to one side, silver handle with plain thumbpiece, 2¼ in. high (5.8 cm.), 3.25 oz.
