New York No.1076, Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, gold hour and minute hands, fusee movement within inner dust case with spotted plates, Earnshaw escapement, spring foot detent, cut bimetallic balance, poising and rating weights, blued steel helical balance spring, gimballed within brass bowl, three-tier mahogany box with drop handles and inlaid copper and brass details and with an engraved mother of pearl maker's plate, and a green velvet inner liner on the top lid.
9¼ x 9 x 9 in. (23.5 x 22.9 x 22.9 cm.) the box closed.
