A scale half model of the schooner Rainbow
Peter Ward (British, 20th century)
in 3/16 in. to 1 ft. scale, the hull carved from the solid and with a green painted bottom, red and black waterline and bright finished topsides with gold cove stripe and detailed trail board at the bow. The deck with planking lines drawn in pencil and fitted with various skylights, dog houses, bow sprit, ventilator, capstan, stump masts with booms, tiller and other details. Mounted on a mahogany backboard with the lettered details about the yacht.
