Automobile Club de La Sarthe et de L'Ouest de La France - A rare early members car club badge; pierced brass format with entwined initials of the 'ACSO' and with engraved inscription to circular border; together with two early photographic postcards depicting the French Grand Prix de la Sarthe; captioned and dated 1906; one unwritten, the other with French manuscript text relating to the event; stamped and posted from the circuit after the race. French c.1906.

Footnote - The badge relates to the fore-runner of the club now known universally as the 'ACO' - Automobile Club de L'Ouest.
