one of linen worked with a long verse and spot motfs, including Adam & Eve, and edged with pink silk tape,--4.5 x 16in. (11.4 x 40.6cm), circa 1760; and one worked in coloured silks to a very fine ground, lined in glazed cotton, worked with various spot motifs and the verse, 'Accept this little gift from me, and may you very happy be,'--4 x 9.5in. (10 x 24cm), circa 1770
