depicting two female figures, possibly Demeter and Persephone, in a landscape, and surrounded by four female figures representing the elements (earth, fire, water and air) each wreathed in raised flora such as acorns and needlepoint lace blossoms, with Charles II and Buckingham depicted as a cockerel and peacock at top edge, later framed and glazed,--24 x 18in (61 x 46 cm), circa 1670
