The bases later inscribed with a tontine "John Prattinton died 1732.P.P & W.P to Willm.Prattenton (sic) 1827.C.P.R. 1939", one foot of each sauceboat contemporaneously inscribed "T*P", engraved to side with antelope head crest, length 8½ in. (21.5 cm.), 23 oz. (2)
