Tasting Note: Long one of my favourite wines. The best ever crop of Merlot (41 in the final blend). Medium deep, rich, lovely crisp strawberry-like fruit; lovely flavour, sweet yet a touch of austerity. Last tasted at Christie's masterclass, April 2002 (****) 2005 - 2015 M.B.
