Tasting Note: First noted at the St-Vivant vertical at the Domaine in 1995: palish, open, prettily coloured, advanced; soft fruit nose, touch of citrus, then low-keyed, 'medicinal', after 40 minutes attractive, harmonious but no further development; a pleasant soft fruit flavour, a bit hollow. ..Most recently, at the follow-up vertical: open, mature; when first poured, a very vegetal nose, stewed beetroot, cabbage, but after less than 30 minutes, very fragrant and sweet; firm fruit, lean, fair length, dry, somewhat astringent finish. Last noted at the Domaine, Oct 2001. M.B.
