The channelled and foliate-gadrooned shaped back and bow-fronted seat with à chassis upholstery covered in crimson needlework decorated with floral-sprays, on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet, the front and back seat-rail later but incorporating the original central section of carving, the toprail with cuts, reduced in width
