An early Victorian mahogany dressing table
Decorated with Gothic tracery panels, arcading and quatrefoils, the pointed rectangular swing plate between column uprights surmounted with finials, flanked to either side by a castelated tower, each fitted with two doors, the lower doors enclosing drawers and compartments with silver topped glass bottles, on a serpentine platform fitted with three drawers, a conforming table base with square section legs headed by pierced fret brackets, terminating in octagonal feet, the silver with hallmarks for London 1842 and 1842 (T.D.) and Sheffield 1875
