TEN VARIOUS GILT-METAL, SILVER, AGATE, TORTIOSE-SHELL AND LEATHER BAXES
seven with no apparent marks, 18th and 19th Century, one with maker's mark of G. van Ewijck, Schoonhoven, 1862

The first seven include a casket-shaped snuff-box with gilt-metal mounts and grey agate walls and cover, another with similar mounts and mottled-brown agate, a silver-mounted amber snuff-box with carved monogram to the cover, an oval box with openworked walls and agate cover and reverse, a gilt metal-mounted tortiose-shell box with a flower-spray to the cover, a circular tortoise-shell box (with later reverse), the cover inlaid with silver and mother-of-pearl flags and musical-trophy, a brown leather case, the last silver mounted and with grey-agate walls and cover (8)
