with maker's marks of Frederik van Strant I, Amsterdam, circa 1720; Gerard de Haas, Rotterdam, 1810; one with maker's mark MK, Austria, 1847; and various others, late 18th, 19th and 20th Century

Including a small circular box with plain walls and slightly domed cover, a plain oval spectacle case, an oblong snuff-box decorated with flowers, foliage and rocaille surrounding engine-turned panels, an 18th Century-style snuff-box with raised swags to the walls and a portrait bust to the cover (struck with fantacy marks), a small reeded example, a plain circular example with gilt interior, two in the shape of swans, a standing example and a metal example of oval form with and decorated with stylised ornament and animals - (413gr) (10)
