A CHINESE POLYCHROME ENAMELLED FISH-BOWL
LATE 19TH CENTURY
Of circular tapering form, decorated on the exterior with two large shaped panels, one depicting a battle scene, the other an audience scene, alternating with bat and fan-shaped panels depicting warrior figures, all reserved on a yellow ground embellished with scrolling lotus, the interior decorated with goldfish swimming between acquatic plants
21½ in. (54.5 cm.) high; 24½ in. (62 cm.) diameter at rim
