EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Decorated overall with chinese figures, flowers and landscapes, the rectangular moulded cornice above a cushion drawer and a flap decorated with a Chinese landscape scene with figures, enclosing a fitted interior of removable pigeon-holes and drawers around a door enclosing four further interior drawers, above an open recess, the flap with hinged ratcheted velvet-lined book-rest, the base with two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet with later lignum vitae castors, the interior door later, refreshments to the decoration
