A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI BLUE AND IVORY-PAINTED FAUTEUILS

Each with rectangular back and seat upholstered in pale blue silk, the back with detached fluted columns issuing arms terminating in acanthus scrolls and above acanthus-wrapped spirally fluted supports, the moulded seat rail above turned tapering and fluted legs headed by foliate paterae and terminating in turned sabots, each stamped 'C. SENE', one with a red wax seal and each with a crowned paper label umbered 'A 842/1' and 'a842/5', redecorated
