OF LOUIS XV STYLE, 20TH CENTURY
With a removable top decorated with a deer hunt scene within a foliage decorated border, above a marble top, above a frieze decorated with foliage and landscapes and fitted with two slides, on shaped legs terminating in hoof sabots

Lot Essay

During the Louis XV period, there was a great variety of small tables in existence; many of them had multi-purpose functions and were used for writing, coffee, needlework and sewing etc. A table en cabaret is a type of table which top has a removable tray. A related table was sold, Christie's, Paris, 15 May 2003, lot 59.
