A SET OF FOUR REGENCY EBONISED AND PARCEL-GILT ARMCHAIRS
EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Each with a pierced lattice curved back, downswept arms and fluted supports, above a caned seat with padded squab cushion covered in button blue velvet, on ring-turned downswept legs with slightly out-turned feet, redecorated, three chairs stamped "PU", one chair stamped "CR" (4)
Exhibited
On loan to Mottismont Abbey, Hampshire, until February 2006.
