With mask and cockerel cresting above cast ormolu dial applied with white enamel Roman cartouche chapters, central alarm-setting disc and blued steel hands, the brass posted frame movement with iron back plate, hoop and spurs, the short duration movement with silk suspension and verge escapement, with countwheel strike on bell above, vertically positioned alarm set into iron back plate; pendulum, two weights, two counterweights
